We seek to participate with him as he redeems, restores, and makes all things new — and to grow in developing his heart for individual and community flourishing.

We believe in the flourishing of the Whole Person. And we look to come alongside those with a shared understanding of a (w)holistic perspective, seeking restoration in spiritual, mental, social, physical, and economic well-being.

We join in a community of belonging with individuals who have been forced to the margins of our city. Those for whom injustice has perpetuated vulnerability and deep challenges. And we partner with leaders of care, character, and sacrifice in or near these communities that will offer the guidance to flourishing.

Intentions

Listening

Leading through listening, we strive to learn the actual needs of those working in the margins and come alongside to effectively support and influence the desired impact for the community. We listen to each other and co-create the future we want to live in together.

Humanity

We seek to build mutually transforming relationships that affirm dignity, equality, and giftedness of all people and partnerships. Intentionally and mindfully building people centered relationships that tend to the unique present needs.

Community

We are committed to working with those across our city in a collaborative and beloved community to compound resources and build capacity.

Imagination

We pledge to leave space to imagine what a flourishing city looks like. In a spirit of creativity, Flourish will introduce innovative collaborations, experiences, and programs. We commit to trying new things; being fully authentic and willing to be wrong; courageously and collaboratively adapting; first and foremost always seeking the good of our community.

Flourish was born out of a cycle of one-time grants given at an annual, city-wide event (celebrating ministries in OKC). While that annual event is no longer the driver of Flourish as a whole, it began to create networks of nonprofits connected to focus seasons and has launched platforms that grow awareness, uproot barriers, and cultivate a new narrative so we can be a city where all flourish.
